And my observations and experience is that leaders are expected to do more in tighter timelines and with fewer resources available, whilst developing a "high performing team".

Executive Leadership Coaching provides a guiding process to help you solve the myriad of challenges you face as a manager and leader of people.  It holds you accountable for your outcomes and actions and focuses on developing your "inside game" or mindset in order to keep up with change.

And yet, most people don't know or understand the secrets to learning, growth and change. Most people never even make it to first base - as New Year's resolutions show us each year.

Change is hard. Change calls for focus, commitment and persistence. Change calls for a plan and guidance to ensure accountability and progress.

The field of neuroscience has been gaining increasing attention in recent years and has helped us to understand just why change is so difficult and how we can overcome our inbuilt resistance to change.

Our brains are wonderful creations, but they can get in the way of reaching our potential if we don’t have an awareness of what’s happening "inside".  Our brains are wired to protect us from danger. But, change, especially the types of change we currently experience in our workplaces can create a great deal of uncertainty and uncertainty to the brain is a perceived danger.

This explains why we sometimes get ‘stuck’. Our brains would much rather stick to what it knows and protect you than put itself and you at risk by taking a chance on change.

Having been a business owner since 2002 and involved in the Learning and Development industry since 1996, I have had my fair share of disappointments, difficult situations and calamities.

I have been coaching for over 20 years and leverage off my years of research and hands-on experience around the science of change and transformation delivered in workplaces, classrooms and coaching sessions in Africa, Australia and Europe.

I am a learning "junky": curious and ever-developing in my own personal journey. As such I use the latest information, tools and research in the areas of neuroscience, positive psychology and NLP as well as learning and research from global thought leaders to enrich and deepen the content in my programmes.

A typical coaching programme consists of 6 to 12 coaching sessions because in my experience, transformational learning takes at least this amount of time to work on your "inside game" and begin to see results.  I believe in creating "quick wins" so that you stay on track and experience the focus that comes with seeing progress.

Each session is 60 minutes and is most often done online (so you'd need an internet connection) although I can do face to face sessions where this is absolutely necessary.  

I encourage my ladies to record each of our sessions for your own personal use later, so that you can stay present.  Having your audio/s/video on hand is a great way to reinforce your learning and keep you focused and motivated.  My clients often tell me that these audios have been invaluable in helping them jog their memories...

Every programme is tailored to your particular circumstances and expectations and I find I get the best results this way.
